As Marvel fans, we had come to accept that we'd likely never get to see Hugh Jackman don Wolverine's iconic comic book suit let alone appear in the MCU. So when Ryan Reynolds announced Jackman was coming back for Deadpool 3, to say fans were excited would be an understatement. The bar for what would become Deadpool & Wolverine was insanely high, yet the film managed to exceed all expectations delivering what has become one of the best MCU movies of all-time. The film is a celebration of the 20th Century Fox Marvel movies, bringing back characters we never thought we'd see again in a film that is not only incredibly funny but also full of some of the best action sequences the MCU has ever seen. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are absolute perfection and deliver a film that has smashed records and reminded fans just how special the MCU can be.

Looking back on Deadpool & Wolverine a decade from now, fans will remember the film as a true celebration of the 20th Century Fox Marvel Era and for giving amazing characters such as Wolverine, X-23, Elektra and Blade the chance to enter the MCU and shine. This film was truly a celebration of the Marvel fans who made the MCU possible by showing up for the Marvel films that came before Iron Man ever took flight.

Without a doubt, the highlights of Deadpool & Wolverine came in getting to see Hugh Jackman finally donning the iconic Wolverine comic-accurate suit and getting to see so many 20th Century Fox Marvel stars revisit their beloved characters courtesy cameos such as Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Dafne Keen’s X-23, Wesley Snipes’ Blade, Chris Evans’ Human Torch, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
