The Traitors

The Traitors returned for its second season this year and quickly proved why it’s the best reality competition series in the game! Season 2 of Peacock’s wickedly fun series amplified everything that helped us first fall in love with the show in season 1 with an unforgettable season of blindsides and betrayals. Phaedra Parks was the clear standout of the season and established herself as the best Traitor we’ve seen in the game! From her iconic lines like “I do too much ‘cause you do too little,” and over-the-top moments including her reaction to the murder of Ekin-Su, to her masterful gameplay, Parks was reality TV gold! And speaking of gold, The Traitors is a fandom on the rise having taken home three Emmys this year including a well-earned win for host Alan Cumming, who is pure perfection. This show would not be near as successful or enjoyable without Cumming at the helm, guiding the faithfuls and traitors through their journey in what has become one of his greatest roles yet!

There were some amazing players in The Traitors season 2, but without a doubt, Phaedra Parks absolutely stole the show in 2024. Parks emerged as the face of the franchise in season 2 thanks to her iconic catchphrases and flawless gameplay. Though she might not have won the season, she won the hearts of fans worldwide and will go down in history as one of the best to ever play the game.

This series has truly taken the best elements of reality TV – the drama, blindsides, over-the-top personalities, edge-of-you-seat moments — and blended them together to create what has truly become the best reality TV series on the air. Thankfully The Traitors won’t be coming to an end anytime soon, with three additional seasons already ordered by Peacock, and there’s no time like the present to join the fandom — be it as a Faithful or a Traitor.
