It's almost impossible to separate Beal from his enormous contract, and the embedded no-trade clause which kept Phoenix from flipping him for Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline. But Beal can still get buckets.

He's become a convenient scapegoat for the underachieving Suns, but Beal is quietly have a very good season. He's on track to play 58 games which doesn't sound like a lot but would be the most he's played since 2020-21. And he accepted a role coming off the bench, settling in as an archetypal second-unit gunner.
Beal is still lights out from beyond the arc, attacking the basket and lighting it up against lesser defenders. He's a shaky defender and still in and out of the lineup, but there are much bigger problems in Phoenix than Bradley Beal.
