Over the past few seasons, Jrue Holiday has established himself as perhaps the NBA's best glue guy, winning championships with both the Bucks and Celtics. His malleability at both ends of the floor is key but he's also capable of stepping up and leading an offense in certain moments and when the matchup demands it. He's a rock-solid spot-up shooter, can initiate an offense or leverage a weaker defender on the perimeter or in the post. On offense, he knows how to play like a star or play off one.

At the other end of the floor, he's still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, with the quickness to handle smaller players and the length, strength and moxie to defend players who are much bigger. And he does it all with quiet leadership and complete commitment. It feels reductive to call him just a role player but he's always there, ready to excel at whatever job his coach has for him.
Holiday's shooting percentages are way down this year and his role has shrunk — hence his slide down this list. But the Celtics will still be counting on him in a big way during the playoffs and history says he'll be ready to deliver.
