Norman Powell has shattered all notions of how NBA players develop. Although he’s always been a good player, Powell never would have cracked this list in his 20s, when common knowledge would tell you he was at his “peak.”

Instead, well after his 30th birthday, Powell has fully emerged as one of the better scorers in the league and a reliable option for a competitive Clippers team. He’ll cook you from behind the arc, but don’t close out too hard — he’ll just as happily settle up in the midrange or attack the rack. He's more than made up for the absence of Paul George and help keep the Clippers in the thick of the playoff race.
These veteran legs still got some lift in them.
