Offensive Role: Slashing Guard
Defensive Role: Off-Ball Guard
Roughly a year after the purgatory of injury and trade rumors pushed Zach LaVine to the fringes of the NBA consciousness, the new Sacramento King is working his way back into form. A smoking hot start for the Bulls was enough to get him out the door and out West to California. Now, the idea of him being washed seems laughably absurd.

He's maybe a lost a bit off his vertical leap but he's still effortlessly smooth, slicing through driving lines and raining down rainbow jumpers. Maybe you don't want to build your full offense around him but there are only a handful of players in the NBA who can make scoring in bunches look so easy. He's still finding his groove in Sacramento but his efficiency and volume are all the way back and he'd be chasing 50/40/90 if his free throw shooting was elite instead of merely very good.

Teams were afraid to gamble on a trade given his contract and the unknown of what he'd have left after the injury. But there may be more than a few teams kicking themselves for missing a chance to land LaVine when the price was at rock bottom.
