By the time A’Ja Wilson starts her move, you’re already dead in the water.

If she’s starting it from the low post, she will simply put a shoulder into your body and score over you. If she’s starting in the high-post, she will face you up and shoot a jumper that is seemingly preprogrammed to settle softly in the basket. If she’s starting from the 3-point line, she’s swifter on her feet than any other center in the league — so a blow by is likely in the cards. Don’t try to get her back with any of those moves, either. The 4X block champ and 2X DPOY has no interest in a back-and-forth affair. She’s the best player in the league on both ends of the court, and somehow, some way, is still leveling up.
They say when you’re applying for a job, your resume should only be one page long. Luckily, A’Ja Wilson won’t need to apply for a new position any time soon, because her accomplishments in the W are nearly novel-length at this point.
