Allisha Gray joined the Atlanta Dream in 2023. The 2017 Rookie of the Year averaged 15.6 points and 4.4 rebounds for the team in 2024 and also played in the inaugural season of Unrivaled in 2025. Gray is a defensive threat, and is known for her ability to break down each game possession by possession, allowing her to analyze the entire floor and come up with the best attack plan.

The move to the Dream was a big one for Gray to make, and if last season is any indication, it has more than paid off. Gray was named a 2024 WNBA All-Star for the second time in her career, and is only the fifth player in Dream history to have achieved multiple All-Stars. She also hit 3,000 career points last season and is the 86th WNBA player to pull off that feat.
Gray is very likely to be a key scorer for the Dream this season, a role she’s held the last two years. Coach Smesko has the capacity to unlock and optimize Gray’s key skill set, and she will continue to play a major perimeter role alongside teammates Rhyne Howard and Jordin Canada.
