Thomas proved once again last season that not only is she one of the most durable players in the league, but she is also one of the most difficult to contain. After three straight All-Star campaigns for the Connecticut Sun, Thomas will now look to build on her all-around prowess with the Phoenix Mercury.

Last season, she finished fifth in MVP voting after averaging nearly a triple-double with 10.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists per contest. Thomas is also an incredibly versatile defender, holding her own against everything from a lightning-fast point guard to a towering center.
Many think she’ll need an adjustment period playing with a new set of teammates in Phoenix, but Thomas’ best asset is her ability to seamlessly blend with anyone. She can do anything on the basketball court at a high level, and there are no signs of her slowing down.
