Brionna Jones hasn't quite broken through as a star yet but she continues to dominate on the low block and remains one of the most consistent scoring bigs in the league. For a player who has been plagued by injuries, Jones has fought back to become a rock steady post presence at both ends for the Sun.

Biggest thing accomplished in 2024
The best thing Jones accomplished this season was simply staying healthy. She came back from a scary Achilles injury looking like an entirely new player. Watching a former Most Improved Player (2021) and Sixth Player of the Year (2022) battle back from such a gruesome injury has been incredibly rewarding.
Taking the next step
While she is scoring the ball again, Jones needs to get her rebounds back up. She averaged just 5.5 rebounds this season, which was a drop from her 8.2 in her injury-shortened season before that. In 2021, she averaged 14.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and that’s the kind of production and consistency the Sun will need from her long term.
