At 37 years old, DeWanna Bonner remains one of the best players in the league. It is truly incredible to watch her play at this stage of her career at such a high level. She still cracks the top 20 in scoring in the league, averaging 15 points per game, 6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.

Biggest thing accomplished in 2024
Bonner does so many things well, not all of which show up in a box score, but her ability to score at her age is remarkable. This season, Bonner continued her climb up the all-time scoring list and now finds herself as the fourth all-time leader in career points (7,482 points). She now is only behind Tina Thompson, Tina Charles, and Diana Taurasi. Bonner was also named to her sixth WNBA All-Star team earlier this season.
Why they're totally unique
Watching all-time greats at the ends of their career can be depressing. Some get injured, their productivity diminishes significantly and they can fade to a faint version of what they were.
But Bonner shows almost no signs of slowing down at 37. This season, Bonner scored more than 20 points in a game 11 times. But she still brings so much more, for example, her defensive performance against Caitlin Clark and the Fever that eliminated them from the playoffs.
