DeWanna Bonner is one of the most underrated leaders in the WNBA this season. As a 16-season vet, the two-time WNBA Champion and six-time WNBA All-Star is a consistent threat on the perimeter and in the paint. She’s a leader who is known for her ability to use her length.

Bonner finished the 2024 season as No. 4 on the WNBA’s all-time leading scorers list, and is also ninth for all-time rebounds and third for total games played (502). She only needs 215 points to move up to the second all-time scorers spot, something that’s well within her reach — especially since she averaged 17.4 points for the Connecticut Sun last year.
Bonner signed with the Indiana Fever earlier this year amid rumors that this season could be her last, and the team has made it clear that a championship is their collective goal. Bonner knows what it takes to win and spent a season with Fever coach Stephanie White last year. She’s also more than willing to take a back seat when needed if it’s for the team’s benefit, and the younger Fever players are openly looking to her as the leader they want and need.
