Ezi Magbegor was drafted out of Australia in 2019 at just 19 years old, heading to the Seattle Storm. Her development has been a slow burn but in 2024, she averaged 11.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in a increased role for Seattle, and seems to be hitting her stride as the Storm give her more responsibility. Her 6-foot-4 frame with lengthy arms allows her to be a rebounding and defending monster on the court.

Magbegor is also incredibly athletic and combines her speed with her size to be able to get past defenders and make a difference at both ends of the floor. Her rise in WNBA stats has almost been stealthy — she started in the league so young so she’s only 25 and already an elite talent.
She also has international talent, playing with Team Australia in tournaments for a while now. She is an Olympic Bronze medalist, a World Cup Silver medalist, and a two-time World Cup Bronze medalist.
