The rematch officially has a date. UFC president Dana White announced that the rematch would be held on December 28 at UFC 168. It was the date that had been rumored for the rematch since the first bout took place.
The co-main event for the event will be Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate for the women’s bantamweight title.
UFC 168 suddenly becomes the biggest fight card of the year for the UFC as the most anticipated rematch in the sport’s history takes place, with one of the biggest rising stars in the sport in the main event.
