Two weeks ago we were treated to arguably the greatest title fight, let alone light heavyweight title fight, in UFC history. Jon “Bones” Jones and Alexander Gustafsson put on an absolute epic fight in which both fighters reminded us why we love this sport. Both men pushed their bodies to the limits exemplifying beautiful technique, heart, violence, and courage — practically everyone was clamoring for an immediate rematch.
Even top contender Glover Teixeira said he would understand if the UFC went in that direction. Well, much to our dismay, we will have to wait a bit longer than anticipated for the sequel.
