There was a scary scene inside of the octagon during the preliminary card of UFC 166, when Adlan Amagov was able to score a devastating knockout win over TJ Waldburger that included some heavy blows well after Waldburger was already unconscious.

Waldburger was taken out of the cage on a stretcher and directly to a local hospital, but he has been cleared from the hospital and everything is looking good.

From UFC president Dana White:

It is great to hear the good news about Waldburger’s status, because the knockout looked terrifying and appeared that it could have been something serious.

Waldburger will still likely miss a few months for being so viciously knocked out, but at least he was able to avoid any serious injury and will be able to fight again. Hopefully he has a good dinner, he deserves it.
