On the same night where Lion Fight crowned a new welterweight champion, one of the promotion’s top stars proved that she is one of the top Muay Thai fighters in the world.

Lion Fight Women’s Featherweight champion and undefeated Muay Thai fighter Tiffany “Time Bomb” Van Soest defeated French Muay Thai champion Magali Foroni in a non-title match at in the co-main event at Lion Fight 12, Nov. 1.

Van Soest picked apart Foroni for two and half rounds until Foroni’s corner threw in the towel to stop the match.

The Time Bomb is becoming one of Lion Fight’s most tenured stars. With this latest victory, Van Soest is 6-0 in the promotion and by holding the women’s featherweight title, which she won back in July, she, along with her fellow Lion Fight champions Fabio Pinca and Yodsanklai Fairtex have a chance – as Lion Fight CEO and owner Scott Kent put it – to become a great ambassador for sport and help bring in a wider audience.

In regards to her role as Lion Fight champion, hopefully it will not be only long before the Time Bomb gets back in the ring.
