Female fighters in all combat sports are coming together to once again partner with MZ and Emmers Sports Bra Auction to take the fight to breast cancer.
MZ and Emmers will hold a Female Fighters Unite auction The list of athletes who have donated items to the Female Fighters Unite is a who’s’ who of MMA fighters, kickboxers and other athletes in combat sports including Bec “Rowdy” Hyatt, Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres and Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant.
MZ and Emmers was founded in 2010 through a bond between Women’s Professional Soccer star McCall Zerboni, and six-year old Emma Bayer. David and Carey Bayer, Emma’s parents, work with Zerboni to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
MZ and Emmers held a week long auction in 2011 that featured sports bras autographed by professional women soccer players from across the globe and raised $4400.
In Janurary 2013, the organization held a sports bra auction with over 40 bras donated by women’s MMA fighters. The auction raised $5,370. The organization has also done auctions with other sports teams and celebrities. MZ and Emmers has auctioned off 415 and raised over $28,000.
The auction is scheduled to go through the month of November with items being added per day.
