Agnieszka Niedzwiedz faces Kerry Hughes at Cage Warriors 62

Polish fighter Agnieszka “Kuma” Niedzwiedz will put her undefeated record on the line as she faces Kerry “Rocksteady” Hughes at Cage Warriors 62, Dec. 7.

This will be one of two women’s bantamweight matches. The second women’s bout will feature Judo practioncer Emma Delaney squaring off against Laura Howarth. Both Delaney and Howarth will be making their professional debuts.

I think this fight could be a close one. Although Hughes is 1-0 in her professional career, as opposed to Niedzwiedz’s record of 4-0, Rocksteady went 3-0 in her run as an amateur.

Both fighters are also capable of finishing a fight. Hughes has two victories by TKO while Niedzwiedz has finished all four of her fights. This match could potentially steal the show and set the bar for women’s fights inside of the Cage Warriors cage.

Whoever wins this fight could be considered a contender for the Cage Warriors Women’s Bantamweight championships if the promotion decides to establish a title in the 135-pound weight class.
