Max Holloway faces Will Chope in Singapore

Max “Blessed” Holloway will look to snap a two-fight losing streak as he faces newcomer Will “The Kill” Chope at UFC Fight Night 34, in Singapore, Jan. 4, 2014.

Holloway, a former X-1 Lightweight champion, has been on the losing side of decisions against Conor “The Nortorious” McGregor and Dennis “The Menace” Bermudez. Prior to those defeats he had three straight victories.

Despite having a rough start in his career, Chope has improved over the years. He is currently on a 14-fight winning streak. With The Kill having 12 submissions on his record, Holloway will have his work cut out for him in the grappling department.

Chope was originally supposed to make his UFC debut against undefeated Russian prospect Bekbulat Magomedov.
