UFC featherweight prospect Conor McGregor and former UFC lightweight title contender Diego Sanchez have been exchanging verbal jabs on social media for the past few weeks, as they continue to call each other out looking for a fight.
It looked like the fight would never happen since Sanchez is considering a move back to 170-pounds and McGregor fights at 145-pounds, but the brash Irishman says that he is willing to move up two weight classes to get his hands on the former TUF champion and Sanchez appears happy to oblige.

McGregor is on the shelf until mid-2014 as he recovers from a torn ACL, so we would have to weight a while to see the potential match up, but it will be exciting to see if the UFC decides to make it happen.
McGregor seems confident that it would, but the UFC would be making a risky move by putting one of their top prospects in a situation where he could easily lose in devastating fashion to a much larger opponent.
