While welterweights will draw the most attention at UFC 171, the flyweights will have a chance to steal the show. On Wednesday, UFC officials announced that a match up between Darrell Montague (13-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Will Campuzano (13-5 MMA, 0-3 UFC) has been added to the event.

Campuzano recently had a five-fight winning streak ended at UFC 167, after suffering a loss to Sergio Pettis — a bout that he took on short notice. Montague, meanwhile, had a four-fight winning streak of his own brought to an end after suffering a loss to No. 1 flyweight contender John Dodson.

With a jumbled title picture at 125-pounds, this is a great opportunity for both fighters to begin their climb back up the rankings.

UFC 171 will be held on March 15 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

With the addition of Montague vs. Campuzano, here is the updated UFC 171 fight card:

  • Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler – for vacant welterweight title
  • Carlos Condit vs. Tyron Woodley
  • Hector Lombard vs. Jake Shields
  • Myles Jury vs. Diego Sanchez
  • Ovince St. Preux vs. Thiago Silva
  • Robert McDaniel vs. Tor Troeng
  • Alex Garcia vs. Sean Spencer
  • Will Campuzano vs. Darrell Montague
