World Series of Fighting has done well for itself since beginning their promotion in 2012. They have picked up elite free agents, rising prospects, and have put together fun fight cards.
Today, on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour, WSOF’s executive vice president and matchmaker, Ali Abdelaziz, proposed a co-promoted PPV event with Bellator. To add a twist to the PPV, each fight would be between a WSOF fighter vs a Bellator fighter. Here is the proposed card from Abdelaziz himself:

This is a genius marketing tool by WSOF to get their name out in the MMA community before their event on January 18th. Bellator will likely decline the offer, but no official word has come as of this writing.
If this event was to actually occur, it would be a huge event for the 2nd and 3rd biggest MMA promotions in the US. However unlikely it may be, speculation and excitement are to be had before the likely rejection from Bellator.
