The UFC is back in Georgia for UFC Fight Night 35 this Wednesday night. The card is littered with exciting matchups and prospects spanning mostly the lower weight classes. In the main event of the evening, top ten Middleweights, Luke Rockhold and Costa Philippou, look to rebound off respective losses. Rockhold is looking for his first UFC victory after falling victim to a highlight reel KO from Vitor Belfort in his UFC debut. Philippou is looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Francis Carmont in a fight in which he was thoroughly handled in the grappling department.

The co-main event features up and coming Middleweights, Brad Tavares and Lorenz Larkin. Tavares, the former TUF product, has blossomed into a cerebral fighter that has put on a stellar four fight winning streak inside the Octagon. Larkin, the former StrikeForce prospect, is 14-1 in his MMA career and is looking to make a name for himself inside the UFC. After an impressive showing over Chris Camozzi back in November, Larkin is looking to move up the ranks by defeating Tavares.

Editor-in-chief, Josh Sanchez, and I will break down each fight from the main card and predict the winners. After UFC 168, I hold a slight lead over Josh with a record of 34-23, while he stands at 33-24.
