UFC Fight Night 35 slow motion highlights

The UFC’s second card of 2014 went down this past weekend in Duluth, Georgia. UFC Fight Night 35 delivered numerous exciting highlights, fights, and finishes. Today, the UFC released their jaw dropping slow motion highlights from the event. You can watch all the exciting highlights in the video above.

The main event of the evening saw the former StrikeForce Middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold, get his first UFC victory as he dispatched of Costa Philippou in the first round. Rockhold unleashed a powerful body kick that badly hurt Philippou and ultimately sent him crumbling to the mat. It was an uber impressive performance for Rockhold, as he staked his claim as a contender in the UFC’s Middleweight division.

In the co-main event, Brad Tavares got his fifth straight UFC victory by defeating Lorenz Larkin. Tavares pressured Larkin the entire fight, not allowing the savvy striker to feel comfortable on his feet. Larkin rebounded a bit in the third, but it was too little too late and Tavares picked up another decision win.

TJ Dillashaw, Cole Miller, and Yoel Romero all picked up impressive victories on the card as well. Each one of those men have staked their claim as contenders and are looking to fight top tier opponents their next time out.
