This past weekend at UFC 169, Jose Aldo retained his UFC Featherweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Ricardo Lamas. Aldo dominated Lamas by chopping him down with powerful leg kicks followed up by vicious right hooks to the body and the head. It was yet another stellar performance from Aldo, but left Lamas back a square one.

Numerous opponents of Aldo have posted a picture of their damaged and bruised legs after their bouts with the Featherweight champ. Ricardo Lamas can now be added to that list, but the damage may not be as bad as you would think:

Along with the picture was this message from Lamas:

So a lot of people have been asking for a pic of my leg, so here ya go ya vultures!!!! Haha! Sorry it’s not what you expected, little bruising, no limping, already back to training and kicking pads and sparring! (Thanks to my ginger brother billy rose for the rounds) Ready for the next one, I’ll fight whoever I have to, to get back to that title shot. If the title gets vacated do I smell a little eliminator with the top 4 contenders????? @ufc

Unfortunately for Lamas, his suggested four man tournament will likely fall on deaf ear. If Jose Aldo vacates his belt to fight Anthony Pettis for the Lightweight strap, expect to see Cub Swanson and Chad Mendes battle for the Featherweight title.
