Just a few days after picking up his third win inside of the UFC’s octagon at UFC 169, Russian flyweight Ali Bagautinov made the trip back to his home country for a special honor that not many people get to experience in their lifetime.

Bagautinov got to carry the torch for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The Olympics open this week and the Olympic torch has finally made an appearance in Sochi where it will spend the next two days before lighting the Olympic cauldron during the opening ceremonies.

Bagautinov shared a photo of himself on his Instagram account making the rounds with the Olympic torch in hand.

Bagautinov carried the torch in Krasnodar on the 121st day of the relay, which was the last stop before making its way into Sochi.
