EA Sports has been hard at work creating the most life like UFC game to date, and the results look fantastic thus far. Over the last couple of months, EA has been releasing realistic screenshots of all of the big UFC stars, past and present. The game looks to have a colossal roster coupled with authentic gameplay that has simply not been there in the previous UFC games.
Today, EA Sports released a brand new gameplay trailer for MMA fans to salivate over. Before you get too excited, the trailer is more about the fighter’s specific walk-outs, emotions, and patented celebrations than it is about fight footage. Brian Hayes, the creative director for EA Sports UFC, illustrates the power of the next generation consoles by showing off the impressive work they have done to put together the most realistic game to date.
Watch Georges St-Pierre, Cain Velasquez, Jon Jones, Chuck Liddell, Benson Henderson, Anthony Pettis, and more go from real life into a video game character in a matter of moments. The technology truly looks incredible, but fans will certainly want to see more fight footage. To this point, EA has released very sparse footage of actual gameplay, but fans certainly can not wait for this title to be released later this year.
