Anderson Silva injury update

Anderson Silva’s recovery from his gruesome leg injury at UFC 168 has been nothing short of remarkable. Silva has been updating his fans with his progress nearly every week since his injury occurred. Silva first posted a picture of himself in the gym, then walking on stairs, walking without crutches, walking on a treadmill, and ultimately hitting mitts.

Dana White, who recently met up with the former long time Middleweight champion, is simply amazed by Silva’s healing abilities thus far. White wrote this tweet yesterday after spending some time with Anderson:

He also tweeted a picture of Silva as well:

On UFC Tonight, Ariel Helwani did a short segment to update MMA fans on Silva’s healing process. If you missed it, check it out in the video above. In summation, Silva’s progress is astounding the doctors, the UFC, and Ed Soares. While White believes Silva may return in 2014, Soares holds that it is still too early to determine when Silva can return to the Octagon.
