Chael Sonnen says Wanderlei Silva has not signed fight contract

Bitter rivals, Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva, are set to fight in Brazil on May 31st. According to Chael in an interview with TMZ, however, the bout agreement has yet to be signed by Wanderlei Silva. Chael is convinced that Silva wants to talk more than he actually wants to fight. Check out the interview in the video above.

This is not the first instance Silva has had an issue with the bout. Originally, Sonnen and Silva were set to co-main event UFC 173 in Las Vegas, but Silva wanted to fight in Brazil. The UFC obliged, and now Sonnen and Silva will headline a UFC Fight Night in Brazil.

Sonnen and Silva have completed the filming of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil Season 3, and it will debut on UFC Fight Pass on March 9th. The rivalry between the two men has gotten many people excited for the upcoming season of TUF. Ultimately, their feud led to an actual fight in the TUF house, but details were sparse due to the show’s stringent policy on keeping quiet as to what goes on during the filming of the show. There is still no word as to whether or not the fight was filmed, or if it will be included in the season.
