Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza has been on fire as of late. The former StrikeForce Middleweight champion has gone 3-0 in the UFC thus far, pushing his winning streak to six straight. In his last bout at UFC Fight Night 36, Jacare dominated Francis Carmont en route to a unanimous decision victory.
After the bout, Jacare underwent elbow surgery, but is healing well and knows who he wants to fight next. Jacare told Tatame he would like to fight the winner of the Tim Kennedy vs Michael Bisping bout at the TUF Nations Finale on April 16th:
Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy are two great athletes. Bisping moves very well and is a dangerous guy. Kennedy is very strong, he has heavy hands and an unusual game. When it looks like he is going to kick, he punches. When it looks like he is going to punch, he kicks. And he also has very good wrestling. I don’t have a pick and no matter who wins, I want to fight the winner to get closer to a title shot. I believe I will be ready to fight again in August and will be the best Jacare that has ever appeared in the Octagon.
