Vinny Magalhaes forced to pull out of Titan FC debut due to staph infection

Former UFC competitor and jiu-jitsu ace, Vinny Magalhaes, was forced out his matchup against Keenan Cornelius this past weekend at Metamoris 3 due to a gruesome staph infection.

Unfortunately for Magalhaes, the staph infection has also forced him to withdraw from his Titan FC debut against Jason Brilz on April 25th. That bout was set to be the Titan FC 28 main event, but now a new bout is in the works:

This is the second major injury on the Titan FC 28 card. Former UFC competitor, Mike Ricci was set to face off against fellow former UFC veteran, George Sotiropoulos on the card, but the bout was scrapped after Ricci was forced to withdraw with an undisclosed injury.

FanSided reached out to Magalhaes who said that he is still in the hospital and will likely be there for another day or two.
