The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale is set for May 31st in Sao Paulo Brazil. According to a report from Brazilian MMA site, Globo, the card may play host to a stellar Featherweight fight. The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil season 1 Featherweight winner, Rony Jason, is rumored to face off against the savvy striker, Robbie Peralta.
The bout has yet to be confirmed by UFC officials, but FanSided will keep you updated if the fight becomes official.
Rony Jason is fresh off of his UFC Fight Night 38 TKO victory over Steven Siler. Jason defeated Siler in just over one minute, but not without controversy. Jason cracked Siler with a left hand that sent the American crashing to the canvas. The referee then stepped in to end the bout while Siler was throwing an upkick. Although the stoppage was seemingly premature, Jason bounced back from a tough KO loss to Jeremy Stephens to get his fourth UFC victory.
Robbie Peralta is looking to build off an impressive KO victory as well. Back in December at UFC 168, Peralta knocked out Estevan Payan in the third round to get his third UFC victory. That win was his first bout since being suspended for testing positive for marijuana after his decision loss to Akira Corassani back in April of 2013.
