UFC 173 fight card finalized

UFC 173 has gone through a whirlwind of changes over the last few months. The initial main event announcement was Chris Weidman vs Vitor Belfort for the UFC Middleweight championship.

Once TRT was banned from the sport, Belfort was forced to withdraw from the title fight and was replaced by Lyoto Machida. Unfortunately, Chris Weidman injured his knee, and elected to have surgery which postponed the Middleweight title fight to UFC 175.

At that point, the UFC 173 card seemed doom to failure. Then came the announcement that Renan Barao would defend his Bantamweight title against TJ Dillashaw in the main event. That was followed up by the announcement that Robbie Lawler would replace an injured Tarec Saffiedine against Jake Ellenberger. Suddenly, the event was stacked with intriguing fights.

The UFC did an amazing job in putting together a stellar card for MMA fans when things looked dim. Today, the UFC revealed the bout lineup for the UFC 173 card, which you can see below:
