Anderson Silva posts new training video kicking with leg that snapped at UFC 168

It was less than five months ago that former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva suffered a gruesome leg injury that caused his left leg to snap in half after current title holder Chris Weidman checked a leg kick.

Initially, many were concerned that Silva’s career could be in jeopardy, but he has been working hard in his rehab and continues to post updates about his recovery.

In the latest video that Silva posted on Tuesday afternoon, Silva can be seen doing bag work and even throwing a kick with the leg that was broken.

It is safe to say that Anderson Silva is not a human.

While Silva’s progress is promising, he has said that he does not expect to fight until early next year.

However, if he continues to come along this well and the UFC can find a big fight for one of the sport’s all-time greats, there is still an outside chance we could see Silva return to the cage for the promotion’s year-end show in Las Vegas.
