UFC 173: TJ Dillashaw Ultimate Insider segment

When a title shot opportunity comes knocking at your door, you do not turn it down. After the UFC postponed the Chris Weidman vs Lyoto Machida title fight due to Weidman’s knee surgery, the promotion needed a new main event for UFC 173.

The UFC decided to go with a Bantamweight title fight between Renan Barao and TJ Dillashaw on short notice. Dillashaw was given the nod over Raphael Assuncao due a rib injury, and he is ready to cash in on his opportunity.

UFC Insider recently did a segment with Dillashaw for his title fight next weekend. Watch Dillashaw train with Team Alpha Male and discuss his dream of becoming a UFC champion.

Beating Barao will be quite the task, as he currently holds the longest winning streak (32) in MMA today. On top of that, Barao has defeated Dillashaw’s teammate Urijah Faber twice.

Can Dillashaw finally bring a title to Team Alpha Male, or will their drought continue? Tell us in the comments below or on Twitter @SchlinskMMA.
