Did Urijah Faber and Alex Caceres agree to fight?

Urijah Faber has been on the sidelines since his controversial loss to Renan Barao in their Bantamweight title rematch at UFC 169. Faber, who took the bout on short notice, was hurt early on by a barrage from Barao. As Faber turtled up to avoid more damage, referee Herb Dean warned him to improve his position or the fight would be stopped.

Faber gave a thumbs up to Dean, but the referee did not see it and stopped the fight. Although the ending was controversial and Urijah left dejected, he was classy as could be after the bout.

Now it seems that Faber is ready to put that fight behind him and step back into the cage. On twitter yesterday a fan asked former TUF competitor, Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Caceres if he would want to fight Urijah Faber. Caceres said that it would be an honor to fight him, and Urijah answered back in hilarious fashion.

Here is the exchange:

While there is no word yet from the UFC if this bout will be made or not, more often than not the UFC will oblige two fighters who are willing to step into the Octagon against each other.
