The UFC returns to pay-per-view this weekend with a card that not many fans are too excited about. Although the majority of the card is thin on name value, the main event of the evening is the highly anticipated title rematch between TJ Dillashaw and the former bantamweight champion Renan Barao.
Back in May at UFC 173, Dillashaw took on Barao and shocked the MMA world when he dominated the champion for five rounds before finishing him off in the fifth with a brutal combination. The victory for Dillashaw not only gave Team Alpha Male their first UFC champion, but it also proved that anything can happen in MMA.
Dillashaw’s performance was truly a masterpiece from the opening bell, but Barao is ready to redeem himself this weekend. In anticipation of the title fight, EA Sports UFC simulated the main event like you have never seen before. Check out the incredible simulation in the video below:
According to EA Sports, Barao will leave the Octagon and return to Brazil with the title via a split decision win in an epic five round affair.
If that is truly the case this Saturday night, will we be treated to the epic trilogy bout early on in 2015? We will have to wait until Saturday night to find out.
