Conor McGregor auctioning off his gear from final fight at UFC 246.

Former two-division champion, Conor McGregor, has announced he’ll be auctioning off his worn UFC 246 fight gear. McGregor announced his retirement after his win over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in January 2020 and he’s doubled down on the fact that it will be his final UFC fight.

“I’ve partnered with [Fanatics Authentic] to bring to you, my faithful fans, an opportunity to bid on my UFC 246 autographed event-used memorabilia,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “This auction commemorates the last time I set foot in the Octagon, so don’t miss out!”

The auction includes fight worn shirts, gloves and his Irish flag. There are three separate auctions with the shorts and gloves starting at $2,500 each. The flag starts at $1,000.

What has Conor McGregor been up to since UFC 249?

McGregor defeated Cerrone via a 40 second TKO in the main event for the UFC’s first pay-per-view event of 2020. It was his first UFC win since defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in 2016. He left the UFC to try his hand at boxing and then briefly retired before returning at UFC 229. He was defeated by current champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Since his latest retirement on June 6, 2020, McGregor has spent his time in the French Riviera celebrating his birthday and working on a water safety program with Princess Charlene of Monaco.
