One front kick to the face brings the fight between Michael Chandler and Tony Ferguson to a halt, with Chandler coming out on top at UFC 274
A fight with expectations of violence had quite the violent ending, as Michael Chandler scored a second-round knockout of Tony Ferguson at UFC 274.
After some pacing from both men to start things off, Ferguson scored a knockdown of Chandler about a minute in. Chandler got up and the two traded, but it was clear Ferguson had momentum. Chandler then started to power up, but Ferguson kept avoiding his shots and catching Chandler with counters.

Chandler managed to score a takedown on Ferguson, but Ferguson continued to fire from the bottom, landing elbows, including one that busted Chandler open. Chandler, however, managed to land some ground-and-pound within Ferguson’s guard, which made Ferguson sport some blood afterward.
Despite the rough first round, Chandler got things done in the second, landing a front kick to the face that dropped Ferguson out cold.
