Bellator 281: Michael ‘Venom’ Page vs. Logan Storley live results

Bellator 281: Michael “Venom” Page vs. Logan Storely live results.

Bellator 281 will see just its sixth interim champion crowned in the main event, a rare figure for an MMA promotion these days. Michael “Venom” Page and Logan Storley will see who walks away with the Bellator interim welterweight championship, and it may be the most earnest and deserving interim title ever bestowed.

Unlike so many others in the history of the sport, the reason Page and Storley are competing for the interim title is because the current reigning and defending champion, Yaroslav Amosov, is currently aiding his home country of Ukraine from a persistent Russian invasion. If there’s ever a reason to miss a title fight, that’s a pretty good reason.

So Storley and Page will fight because Amosov already has his fight card packed. Joining the main event is a surprising marque name card for a UK show. Legendary MMA fighter Lyoto Machida will take on Fabian Edwards in the co-main, while fellow icon and British MMA legend, Paul Daley will have his last fight (allegedly) in London. Top contenders Denise Kielholtz and Kana Watanabe are going to fight it out as well on the main card.

The preliminary card also has some big names, like Daniel Weichel, Oliver Enkamp, Kate Jackson, and Charlie Ward, making this one of the biggest UK cards in the history of the promotion. For context, the last two European/UK shows that featured Ward had him in the semi-main for both contests.

That should give you an idea of how big this event is.
