DWCS Week 10: Bo Nickal vs. Donovan Beard live results.

Dana White’s Contender Series has reached the final week of season 6, bringing us a stacked card of five more fights. 10 fighters will step into the Octagon for their chance to earn a contract with the UFC.

The most talked about main event of the season takes center stage with collegiate wrestler and returning fighter Bo Nickal vs. well-rounded MMA athlete Donovan Beard. During week 3, fans took to social media when Dana White did not give Nickal a UFC contract after his exciting and dominant first-round finish. Though fight trending online, White said he wanted Nickal to get more experience and promised him another shot on the show.

Training out of Arkansas, Beard is the more experienced MMA fighter in this match, with seven wins and one loss. This middleweight bout against Beard is a more intense match-up for Nickal to challenge his skillset and for fans to witness which fighter can take home the contract.

In the co-main event will be an intense performance between Sam Patterson and Vinicius Cenci. Top-ranked Patterson is leading in on an eight-fight win streak with a record of nine wins, one loss, and one draw. Grappling Guru, Cenci (7-1) has not taken a loss since 2016. When the cage doors lock, one of these lightweight prospects will add another win to their records and a potential UFC contract to their resume.

Bout three brings us to our featherweight warriors, Emiliano Linares (8-1), walking into the cage off winning his last four fights, facing Jack Jenkins (9-2), with his current fight streak of six wins. Unfortunately, someone’s win streak will have to go during this thrilling Tuesday night match-up.

Next, the flyweight division brings in two high-performing Brazilians, Rafael Estevam (10-0) takes on João Elias (17-3-1). Estevam is undefeated with the most recent win in July 2021 with LFA as Elias, with more recent activity in the cage, is coming off three wins, all consisting of first-round finishes.

The opening bout will present bantamweight Ashiek Ajim (6-1) and Mateus Mendonça (9-0). CES fighter, Ajim is bringing the excitement of his fighting style with a three-win streak, all three ending under a minute in the first round. The undefeated Brazilin fighter, Mendonça also has first-round finishes, five out of nine fights on his enduring record but has not had an MMA fight since October 2020.
