After several weeks in the NFL where the public bettors beat the books, oddsmakers struck back in a big way in NFL Week 9. Not only did the sportsbooks have a successful weekend in the NFL, but they dominated the college football slate as well.
CFB yesterday: the #1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 ranked teams fail to cover (#4 didn't play). NFL today: Bills (-15.5), Cowboys (-10), Saints (-6.5) and Raiders (-3) lose OUTRIGHT. And Ravens (-7) fall short. Bookmakers might not be done counting the loot they won this week till Wednesday.
