Biggest Winners and Losers from Monday Night Football Patriots vs. Bills
Week 13 of the NFL season is in the books, and it's hard to believe that we only have five weeks left of the regular season before we dive into the playoffs.
Before we get ready for Week 14, let's take a look at the top winners and losers from the Monday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills.
Any odds listed are via WynnBET Sportsbook.
Patriots vs. Bills Winners
UNDER Bettors
The total for the game dropped from 43 down to 40, and was even set at 39.5 for a few moments. It was largely due to the high-winds that Buffalo was experiencing at game time. Those who took advantage of the weather insight and pounded the UNDER, walked away from the game happy.
The game finished with a total of 24, so even with the adjusted total, the UNDER hit with ease.
Patriots Running Backs
It looked like we were watching Army or Navy on the field when the Patriots were on offense. The Patriots ended with only three total pass attempts, as the New England running backs did all work for its offense.
Damien Harris rushed for 111 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown, including a long score in the first quarter. He then hurt his hamstring, and Rhamondre Stevenson took over and carried the ball 22 times for 74 yards. Five other players ran the ball at least once for the Patriots.
Patriots vs. Bills Losers
Mac Jones Fantasy Owners
Tough game for anyone who needed points from Mac Jones tonight in fantasy. Real tough. He finished with a stat line for 2-for-3 for 19 yards, and five rushes for -3 yards after he took multiple knees to close out the game.
He scored a total of 0.46 fantasy points. I don't have anything else to add to this point, because nothing else happened.
Bills Fans Attending the Game
Imagine going to this Bills game live, sitting in freezing temperatures and high winds, only to watch your team put up a total of 10 points and have the AFC slip through your fingers. Buffalo will likely still make the postseason, but tonight hurts its chances significantly of winning the division.
On the bright side, they'll have a chance for revenge in Week 16.
People Who Thought the Patriots Dynasty Was Over
I have to admit. A one-year rebuild is pretty impressive.
Those of us, me included, who were looking forward to seeing the Patriots not dominate the football world for the first time in two decades, are devastated with tonight's result. Will the Patriots ever not be a good football team? I don't think so.
