The Big 12 has consistently given us fantastic matchups of top 25 teams and here is another one. One week after TCU’s comeback win over Oklahoma State, the Horned Frogs get Kansas State at home.

TCU is a perfect 6-0 after that 43-40 overtime win last week and Kansas State heads south after a bye week with a 5-1 record. The Wildcats' only loss came to Tulane back in September.

Could this be a let down spot for the Horned Frogs after moving into the top 10? Let’s see what Vegas thinks and check out the odds.

Kansas State vs. TCU Prediction and Pick

This game features two very exciting quarterbacks in Max Duggan and Adrian Martinez, but what this one is really all about are the freaks at the skill positions. Quentin Johnston is 6-foot-4 215 pounds at wide receiver and has 34 grabs for 500 yards and two touchdowns.

Those stats sounds a bit underwhelming, but he has really come to life in the past two weeks. First he had 14 for 206 and a TD against Kansas and followed that up with eight for 180 and a touchdown last week. Pro Football Focus has him with 194 yards after the catch in those two weeks alone to lead the country.

Kansas State counters with Deuce Vaughn who is 5-foot-6 176 pounds at running back and has 661 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 5.5 yards per rush this year. He is shifty and fast and has led K-State to the fifth best rushing offense in the nation.

I like both of these teams and I’ve been riding TCU all year, but this screams let down spot to me. The Horned Frogs just got two ranked wins in a row on very big stages and meanwhile K-State was resting up on their bye week. Adrian Martinez and Deuce Vaughn will be able to move the ball against TCU’s 70th ranked defense and it won’t be as easy for Max Duggan and Quentin Johnston against the K-State defense that is 14th in points per game.

Pick: Kansas State +145
