The No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions shutout the Indiana Hoosiers in Week 5, 24-0. Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford threw for three touchdowns in the win and had a good report with wide receiver Jahan Dotson, connecting on eight passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns.

The No. 5 Iowa Hawkeyes are coming off a big 51-14 win over the Maryland Terrapins. Iowa forced seven turnovers in a complete embarrassment of the Terps. Quarterback Spencer Petras collected five touchdowns on the night, throwing for three and bumping in two on the ground at the goal line.

Penn State vs. Iowa Prediction

Both of these teams have played solid defense this season. Neither Penn State or Iowa have allowed more than 20 points in a game this season, and it could be a low scoring contest this week.

These offenses have not been spectacular, putting up bigger scores in games against lesser competition. Yes, the Hawkeyes scored 51 points last week against a 4-0 Maryland team, but seven turnovers and 11 penalties will help that occur, and it won’t be duplicated this week against the Nittany Lions.

This feels like a potential 17-13 kind of game, so I will take the under 42.5. I like Penn State's offense a little more, so I'll say they pick up the win over Iowa.
