Trust Steph Curry to Keep Scoring at High Rate in Game 5 of NBA Finals
By Peter Dewey
At this point in the NBA Finals, there is one clear player that has separated himself from the rest: Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.
Curry has been absolutely insane in this series averaging 34.3 points per game and he’s scored 34, 29, 31 and 43 points in the first four games. Steph is also shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 49.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Not only that, but he’s been dominant on shots that really only he can hit, making the Boston Celtics’ job on defense that much more difficult.
Curry’s points prop at WynnBET Sportsbook is set at 30.5 (Over -115/Under -125), and I think the bet to make is the OVER… it’s the only one you can make!
You can’t bet a Curry under with how well he’s been shooting in this series, especially with the volume that he’s seen (23.5 shots per game, 21 or more shots in every game).
In this series, Curry has gone UNDER 31 points just one time, with a 29-point game in Game 2 when he sat the entire fourth quarter in a Warriors blowout win.
It’s hard to see Boston changing its defensive coverage in Game 5, and with Robert Williams dealing with knee soreness, the Warriors may be able to attack Boston easier in the paint.
Curry is going to run away with Finals MVP if the Warriors win this series, and I won’t fade the greatest shooter of all time when he’s in the midst of an insane hot stretch.
