Women's golf heads to Scotland for the final major tournament of the year.

The 46th Women's British Open is a monumental one, as it's set to take place a Muirfield, a place that was surrounded by controversy when it voted to continue to not allow women members in 2016. Due to backlash, they re-did the vote in 2017 and decided to start allowing female members.

This will be the first time the Women's British Open will be held at this legendary course.

Let's dive into the top 10 odds via DraftKings Sportsbook to win the event and then my three best bets.

AIG Women's British Open Odds

  • Lydia Ko +1000
  • Nelly Korda +1100
  • Minjee Lee +1200
  • Hyo Joo Kim +1400
  • Jin Young Ko +1600
  • Brooke Henderson +1800
  • Lexi Thompson +2000
  • Georgia Hall +2000
  • Atthaya Thitikul +2000
  • Nasa Hataoka +2200

Picks to Win the AIG Women's British Open

Nelly Korda +1100

Few golfers are as consistent as Nelly Korda. She ranks third in total strokes gained this season, and has already proven that she has what it takes to win a Major championship.

She missed a majority of the season due to a blood clot, but seems to be rounding into form since returning in June. She's coming off two straight T8 finishes heading into this week, and she's in a good spot to capture her second major title.

Lexi Thompson +2000

Betting on Lexi Thompson to win a Major championship is always setting yourself up for heartbreak. She's let several slip through her fingers since winning her first (and only) major back in 2014. The latest heartbreak came at the PGA Championship in June. All she needed was to shoot even par in the final round to force a playoff, but she stumbled and shot 1-over par to lose by a stroke.

With that being said, if you're going to give me the leader in "total strokes gained" at 20/1 to win an event, I have to take it. She's also 2nd in greens in regulation and 4th in scoring average.

I'm sure I'll regret it when she shanks a drive on the 72nd hole to drop out of the race.

Xiyu Lin +5000

Xiyu Lin is my longshot bet this week. She's struggled off the tee this season, ranking 42nd in driving distance and 57th in driving accuracy. But, if she can dial in her driver, she's strong enough in other areas that she could find herself in contention.

She ranks 3rd in greens in regulation and 13th in putts per GIR. She's also ninth in scoring average, which makes her a tempting option at +5000.
