NBA All-Star Weekend is officially here and will culminate in a game between Team LeBron and Team Durant. This is the fourth time LeBron James has been able to draft his team, while Kevin Durant is making his first appearance as an All-Star GM.

This game is all about the highlights. For a majority of the game, expect alley-oops, deep threes and a lot of plays you'd never see in a regular NBA game. With the Elam Ending that is now in place, the fourth quarter has a chance to be a tightly contested game.

Team LeBron has won four years in a row. Is this the year they get knocked off?

Here are the odds for the matchup via WynnBET.

Team Durant vs. Team LeBron Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Team Durant: +5.5 (-110)
  • Team LeBron: -5.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Team Durant: +175
  • Team LeBron: -220

Total:

  • 321 (Over: -110/Under: -110)

Team Durant vs. Team LeBron Prediction and Pick

On paper, Team LeBron is the better team. Durant's team is suffering from the fact that its leader, Kevin Durant, won't play due to a knee injury. On top of that, his starting lineup is significantly younger than Team LeBron's and has a lot of the "almost a superstar" types of players.

With Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic to go alongside James, this team has the advantage in MVP candidates and highlight potential. Not having Durant is a big deal. Team Durant will have to lean on the younger stars to take this game personally and try and make their imprint on this game.

As long as the game is close at the end of the third quarter, Team Durant has a chance. However, it doesn't bode well for them that they have Andrew Wiggins and some of the smaller stars in this game.

Due to their lack of size and star power, I'll have to take Team LeBron.

Lean: Team LeBron -5.5 (-110)
