2022 U.S. Open Odds (Novak Djokovic Opens as Favorite, But How Far Down Did Nick Kyrgios Fall?)

After completing his fourth straight Wimbledon championship, along with his 21st career Grand Slam singles win, 35-year old Novak Djokovic is once again the favorite ahead of next month's U.S. Open Championship.
"Joker" checks in on the latest odds board at WynnBET Sportsbook at +175 to win his fourth career U.S. Open. Should he take the title, he would tie Rafael Nadal with 22 Grand Slam singles wins; tied for the most in tennis history.
This is also Djokovic's 4th consecutive Wimbledon title, joining Roger Federer, Björn Borg and Pete Sampras as the only men to win 4 straight Wimbledon titles in the Open Era.

Djokovic's 21 major titles breaks a tie with Roger Federer and is now 2nd to only Rafael Nadal's 22.
Djokovic was a massive -410 favorite over opponent Nick Kyrgios (+300) for Sunday's final. This despite Kyrgios walking into the championship after his semifinals opponent, Rafael Nadal withdrew due to an abdominal injury.
Despite losing three straight sets after taking the first, Kyrgios also made history with 30 aces against the best player in the world; the fifth-most in a major final in more than 30 years.
Nick Kyrgios finished with 30 aces, the 5th-most in any major final since 1991.
