The 2023 Women’s World Cup begins on Thursday, July 20, and it runs through the championship match on Sunday, Aug. 20.
The United States is the favorite to three-peat as World Cup champions. The U.S. has four World Cup titles, while Germany (two), Norway (one) and Japan (one) are the other nations to win one.
Following the group stage, two teams from each group will advance to the Round of 16, which begins on Aug. 5.
